No, but is certainly fitting for a typical Totallympics bashing masked under a pretense of "discussion".   Baseball/softball is like the only non-European-centric team sport at the Olympics.

Well I really hope this isn't the last time we see softball in the Olympics, because IMO this tournament was a ton of fun.

The outfield walls are way too low for an astroturf field. Almost any deep hit just bounces over them for an automatic ground rule double, instead of forcing the fielder to defend the triple or infield home run.  Gives an unfair advantage to poor pitching against quality hitting.

Catching up.....Saw the early innings of Aus / Canada, which were epic, close of USA Mexico, now a bit of JPN / ITA - still very tight.
