They have their own version of PM which is called Premier

Yes, but the legal and constitutional leader of the country is *drum roll*...a dead guy!

Kim Jong Un is chairman of the party. And third in like leader. Prime minister is just that. He’s the top advisor I believe.

In the US:

  • Our executive leader is the President
  • second in line is VP
  • third in line is Secretary of State (and appointed/unelected position)
  • fourth is Speaker of the House
  • fifth is Senate Majority Leader
  • six is we all use the guns we all have, but really shouldn’t, and the play “the most dangerous game” until someone comes out as the alpha and this president

well, that´s pretty exactly the same, except he or in this cas she isn´t automatically "assigned by god" but has to be elected by peoples....

The president has more or less just a ceremonial status with a limited competence like veto but is the chief of the army (slovak army loool)

The prime minister is leading the politics of the country but can be recalld by any time by the president

India has basically the same status. President is ceremonial head of state, while Prime Minister is head of government and is involved in all the nitty gritty of politics.

    • But it seems to us that Norway wasn't as strong in Lillehammer 1994 as it was later? And not just in women's events. Generally, until 2000, Norway was much weaker in women's biathlon and women`s cross-country skiing. I remember in the 1990s, Italy's biggest rivals, Belmondo and di Centa, were Russia, when Norway somewhere further back and only in the classic style. Bente Martinsen- Skari, this is their first really strong girl in cross country, just about 2000, just like Liv Grete Skielbreid- Pioree in women`s biathlon at similar times.   Do you think, that is there any hope that thanks to the popularity of Haaland and football in general in Norway in recent years, winter sports such as biathlon or cross-country skiing will lose a little bit, becouse that?

    • This suggestion  @Dnl  made some months ago has also been implemented.   In each club, I have added a "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" record which takes the content from the Qualification by Nation tracker of that NOC.   People who see it can not edit the content, but it will be automatically updated once @Matej will update the record, and if you notice any mistake feel free to report it to Matej or in the record itself.   Club's admins can now edit the name of the section into their own language or change the spelling, I have used "Milano Cortina 2026 Qualification Tracker" for all the clubs. To do so, go inside the section, then click on "Manage Club"-"Edit this database Record" and change the name of the section:     By the way, if you are not a club's admin but you would like to edit things inside the club just let me know and I will give you the rights to do so. There can be more "admins" inside the club with the rights to edit and organize the sections, and that's not a role that require time or commitment.   Let's try to make all the clubs active during MiCo and when the LA28 qualifications will start!
