Cricket is also very likely gonna be at the Olympics in Brisbane 2032 and it would not be that surprising to see it become a core sport in the future.

I mean sure. I'm not gonna pretend I watch everything at the Olympics (can't make it through more than a few minutes of dressage, and modern pentathlon is something I watch for the same reason I watch dash cam videos). But lets not pretend that it's some uniquely indefensible inclusion, by any sort of halfway objective measure it deserves it's spot in the Olympic more than most of the program.

Oh definitely, unlike many other Olympic sports, it is a sport that doesn't need the Olympics to survive and that by itself says a lot. I might watch a bit, but if there is almost literally anything else going on, it's going on the bottom of the list. Personal preference, of course

Ya, of course, I feel like everyone will have some sports they just *cannot* get into.

 

(Incidentally part of why I think its good to have a really wide variety of sports in the Olympics, I'd be a bit worried about the games' long term prospects if everything catered to me personally xD )

I don't think that will be the case. Except for certain muslims largely near J&K, everyone is united in this battle.

 

I stay in Hyderabad which is the stronghold of AIMIM party - All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen. Its a 98 year old party which has been winning seats in Hyderabad for decades.

It clearly is making Pakistan mad as they are not able to divide our nation. The very operation is being led by Sofia Quereshi, an Muslim woman and religion is the least of the concerns. This isn't a religious war it's a war against state sponsored terrorism.
