The Nobel Peace Prize goes to World Food Programme (WFP). I am not surprised that it didn't go to Trump, Putin or other big names, but still I am surprised that it goes to a generic organization. Boring :dunno:

Yeah Trump was just nominated by some loony in the parliament I believe, never a serious contender :p

Luckily it didn't go to him or Greta T or Vlad P or something, I'm not unhappy with the WFP. It's not that uncommon for an organization to get the prize and I do think it's a good one - thought I'd have preferred a lesser-known individual, as it was in the past two years (including two of them sharing the prize).

From Trump’s interview on FOX last night.

Quote

“Look at where California is going to have to ration water,” Trump said. “You know why?” he continued. “Because they send millions of gallons of water out to sea, out to the Pacific because they want to take care of certain little tiny fish that aren’t doing very well without water, to be honest with you.”

I mean...what?

He is clearly mentally ill or high off his ass on something. He also said “fuck” during a live interview today, which is just a big no-no in the US.

Wow, I never thought I'd live to see the day on which Trump scores a positive point in my book :d Saying that when you're the president of a country where a nipple on TV is a reason to change 'live TV' rules and for people to go batshit mad because 'omg a nipple!', that's just pretty funny.

I know, it doesn't make him funny. At all. And he obviously is high as a kite since being admitted in the hospital.

I agree completely with you about the use of language. That’s why I wrote “big no-no in the US.”

I just thought that would help underline his current mental state.

Yeah that mental state hasn't been good for a while

To think there was a time, long ago, when Trump sounded like someone speaking in a coherent way, like regular people. I mean, the words made him sound like an asshat, but at least it sounded coherent, it 'made sense' (as in, normal sentences) and it was someone who came across as someone capable of talking normally. Since going for president...not so much.
