I’ve already decided that I will refuse to vote for Bloomberg. I’ll waste my vote on Hawkins or La Riva instead in the general election. The only exception to me being “Bernie or bust” at this point is Warren or Klobuchar for the sole prospect of having our first woman president. Maybe, and a big one at that, I could support Buttigieg since he’d be the first gay president. Plus, he’s at least somewhat close to my viewpoints (compared to the other “moderates”).

What about Biden? No vote to him as well?

I don't think Bloomberg will win enough delegates on his own. His best chance is in a brokered convention. And if DNC selects Bloomberg ahead of Bernie, I do suspect that Bernie might go ahead and contest as an Independent. So, you might not have to waste your vote on Hawkins or La Riva but can instead waste it on Bernie.

Yep :yes The GOP is a political party. The Democrats are everyone not that. It’s been an issue in the past, and it’s going to be an issue this year. 30-40% of the party wants Bernie, 30-40% wants a moderate, and 20% wants something in the middle, there’s going 30% that refuse to endorse the other sides candidate, especially after this long and painful primary.

Oh dear really? So, when push comes to shove, you prefer another term of the orange man slowly destroying your country than having Bloomberg? I do not like Bloomberg either, but he is some lightyears better than the imbecile you currently have in office.

Biden’s like a dinosaur from the past. He’s a conservative masquerading as a democrat.

Oh I agree. However, Bloomberg isn’t changing the status quo of US politics. To me, four more years of Trump or four years Bloomberg, will yield similar results. In every test I’ve done Bloomberg’s been the last democratic candidate before Trump (in terms of who aligns with me). Plus, if Trump is relected, I see the chances of having a progressive as president even higher. We might also finally get a vote on Californian Independence then, which is something I’m in a favor of.

I love how every liberal makes conservatism look like a disease  That's why liberal democracy is struggling big time right now. Dismissing non-liberals as some crazy idiots ain't gonna get you anywhere.

One of the weirdest, but also scariest threads I’ve seen in a while.

Annoying, unnecessary and overreacting but not weird for me. It's the priority political mission of the local governors to contain the spread and preventing virus coming into their ruling area. The governors from less developed or rural area tend to take those simple and crude actions. Human right is something fancy only heard about and political mission accomplished is the only goal for them.

I feel like you're using liberal as liberally as the conservatives in the US use socialist or communist...

    • Yes, he is ones of the first supporters of Milei, owner of one of the most important stock market of Argentina (Bull market), he was peronist and for "unknown reasons" start to be libertarian.   Even being libertarian in my case, i have to admit that him is one of the dumbest of "Milei supporters" and a clown when  he is in TV, he made me feel  embarrassed in many occasions.   Camila Giorgi being with him is.......inconceivable.
    • Ya but the replacement is Pat Bondi, a choice that is only better in so far as Pat Bondi isn't credibly accused of having had sex with multiple underaged girls.   Also, you might recognize this name: Pete Hoekstra has been nominated to be the US ambasador to Canada.
    • Camila Giorgi has a new BF Ramiro Marra. Apparently he's some politician/journalist from Argentina. One of Milei's supporters dare I say? @LDOG@konig
    • Skeleton Tour moves on to Yanqing  this weekend.  Asian Cup races tomorrow, then the World Cup on Saturday, and then possibly more Asian Cup next weekend before everyone moves over to Altenberg for the start of the full Skeleton / Bobsleigh tour again.
    • 2-1.   But it's good to have a great champion in the squad. I've been waiting for this my whole life. I wish we had such stars in every sport.
    • But he beat Mouat, who seems to be almost unbeatable
    • Argentina has a really solid lineup, especially if they have prepared seriously for this event. Of course they don't have a champion like we do, but in this format it is enough to win 1 match to play the decisive doubles.
    • Today we must to beat Argentina. It looks like Sinner will have to win all the singles and doubles for us to defend the title. So far, the 2nd and 3rd favorites before the tournament have already been eliminated: Esp and USA.
