Bernie Sanders got 13 million votes in the primaries of 2016 and the total electors in the final vote was 127 million. That's a good 10% of the people voting "socialist", as you would say.

Of course depends of the country, here the muslims are practically all conservatives and that is what i see of them all over the world, it isnt a "bad thing" at all, like all things, its has the good and bad aspects.

are you considerer socialist?, is something shocking coming from somebody of USA, on the other hand, is a good thing of you the tolerance for religious people, for me the problem is not the religio, is the fanatism (in everything).

Except his not really a socialist. He’s what’s considered a democratic socialist (which I consider myself). He’s essentially someone who believes in the democratic system of government, but wants to use socialist policies to improve it. I myself am a little more extreme. I’m a crossover of anarchist, socialist, and liberal (so far left, but without extreme social ideas). I would imagine I’d like Green, Pirate, and Social Christian parties (though we have the very stupid two party system here in the US, which I think is why our government is failing currently).

Still being shocking the existance of socialism in USA, i know the old Sanders who lost against Clinton.

No I am not a communist. Communism doesn’t work. I am a democratic socialist for that reason. I can aide people, while still ensuring their freedom (even if they disagree with my politics). A good leader, is someone who understands that there are better goals than power in life. If I could just improve one persons life, than mine would be worth it. That’s why I’m so passionate about human rights, the lower classes, and equality.

And for a law of 2009, there are less now: in that time we have near 1000 political parties, here you have national, provincial and local parties......the most part are peronist, socialist or comunist, probably the 90% of them :hairpull:

    • no idea. I just repeated what I read  but I won't be surprised if they make a mistake like this. the officials here are usually terrible in reading the rules. if I remember correctly they sent an Ice hockey team to the Games back in 2017 but most of the players were ineligible to play per IIHF rules and they played some friendlies instead    btw there is a federation, but not an ISU member. Ice Skating (which has a very very limited activity here) was a part of Skating (roller sports) federation but now moved to Skiing federation which officially changed its name to Skiing and Winter Sports Federation.

    • There is a saying to never trust a Russian in gymnastics. Well, ex-Russian turned Bulgarian Elvira Krasnobaeva is transferring now to Armenia.   The "official" reason is for personal, family matters, but in reality it's most likely because she wasn't selected for Paris, which angered her parents. Even though she is only 16, had her breakthrough just this year and started making mistakes, when they amped up the difficulty.   Our Federation's President Iliana Raeva said today, that she received calls also from France and Azerbaijan about Elvira's mother basically auctioning her. Raeva mentioned, that Krasnobaeva was going to be a vocal point in the next Olympic cycle, but now she can hit the road and missed her chance to ever compete for Bulgaria, even if she wanted to in the future.    We are also going to make a new Group from next season. After the disappointment in Paris, 4 out of the 5 girls announced their retirement.
