Best National Team goes to Estonia Men's Epee. They pull Egypt out by critical 8 points. If China grab the quota tomorrow regardless of the type, we have to say a big thank you to Estonia.

I don't understand the qualification process. But if I understand correctly, there is no quota for Bas Verwijlen :NED ?

Yesterday Dutch media reported that he has to win the European Qualification Tournament now? Strange, as he is worlds number 7.

Unless I am mistaken, I think he will get the 2nd European quota if both Russia and Ukraine will qualify tomorrow.

Both Italy and France are losing in women's épée, so it looks like all excitement is about to end for the European teams there. Which is a shame because we are actually winning against Poland at the moment. Come on Italy, we need you to have a small chance for the qualification!

That's it, Korea beats Italy in women's épée, both Ukraine and France are eliminated from the Olympic qualification (and also Hungary). Canada or Hong Kong will qualify. If Korea will reach the final, Hong Kong will get the quota, if not, Canada will be in Tokyo.

    • this is not funny at all, pal
    • I think I can live with the draw , not a bad group at all. just a week ago our mafia coach said his dream group is Belgium, Egypt and Haiti, he almost got that !   but it's really hard for me (and so many others) to cheer for this team, A mafia boss coach, disgusting group of players. I never had this feeling about any NT in any sport before but still the national team is the national team. you have to like it  coaches and players come and go, the team is what matters.   if the team makes it to the competition, I'm sure there will be lots of Iranians in the stadium despite the orange's ban, that will never be a problem.
    • Belgium is the luckiest in this story
    • One of the worst possible draw for us. Group really easy but having to face  or  in the Round of 32 is devastating.
    • Always dreamed Gretzky will draw Slovakia was another moment I can already remove from my things to do before die list
    • Finland have been awful in almost all winter sports, well beside ice hockey and cross-country from time to time, for a lot of years. It's very good to see them building people to challenge for wins again. Their new coach has done wonders it seems.
    • 14th June in Philadelphia against Cote d´Ivoire   20th June inToronto against Curacao   and 25th June in Philadeplphia to kick out  home    Not easy, but not the most difficult group. Should be okay. Vamos
