India and Pakistan are joint winners of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy after the final was called off due to heavy rain in Muscat.

After a coin toss, India won the right to take home the trophy for a year, with Pakistan receiving it the year after.

Gold medals were then given to the Pakistani players, with the Indian participants promised that theirs would be sent to them soon.

Pakistan is again a total disaster. They changed coach twice in the last month, they will host their home pro-league games in 5 different countries and their participation in WC is still in danger because of lack of funds. Also India still hasn't given them the visas to travel...

Day 2, the classic between the Netherlands and Argentina is about to get underway. Let's see if this rather experimental Dutch team can get something nice out of it :p

The penalty corner of our team is a tragedy. Even Trinidad and Tobago has better routines than these girls.

It's the complete opposite of our men's team, they do few attacks in most matches but score almost every corner they get. These girls have 500 circle entries per match and with luck one ends in a goal.

    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
