In this Sunday (February 18th) Dinos Lefkaritis (lone Cypriot athlete in Pyeongchang) will take compete in men's giant slalom at 10:15 local time (2:15 CET). He is scheduled to compete also in slalom which will held in Thursday (February 22th). Good luck and all the best Dinos, make yourself and whole your country proud! :CYP

Today Morocco had their 1st appearance in WOG by the 40 years old Samir Azzimani and he finished 111th out of 119 skiers participated in XC 15 Km Freestyle 

i remember some useful Moroccan alpine skier, quite young, French-based i think - is he injured? Sth went wrong?

I fell in love with sports.....since i first seen it

I think u mean Adam lemahmedi he's gold medalist at YWOG in 2012 and will participate here as well and he's living in Montreal , Canada

Good news is Michel Macedo managed to get a start in and now really is an Olympian :cheer: Bad news is he didn't finish :(

Morocco has their 2nd participation in OG , as Adam Lemahmedi in Men's Alpine Skiing Giant Slalom finished 53rd overall out of 110 athletes Participated in this event with a timing of 2:36.04 , 18 sec. behind Olympic champion Marcel Hirsher , which's kind of a good result for him

:MON Olivier Jenot finsihed 38th in Giant Slalom (48th in 1st run and 37th in 2nd run), losing 11,05 secs to the winner.

:MON Two-man bob of Rudy Rinaldi and Boris Vain is 16th after 2 heats with 0,42 secs of loss to the leaders.

    • Here, the Masters is on national TV.  Are major golf tourneys in the USA shown in other places?   (I work at a private school that's just about an 80-minute drive from Augusta.  Many of my students are able to go watch the tournament in person.  I've never paid attention to golf until this year...it's a beautiful course!)
