This is what I love about  athletics, and indeed Kenyan sport. They're never happy just to be the Middle Distance Nation, like the Ethiopians want to be the Long Distance Nation, they're always pushing in all the other events. And indeed, now in rugby sevens and women's volleyball.

Bromell doesn't have automatic qualification. We still don't know if his 10.00 is faster than Omurwa's.

 

Edit: Bromell is slower than Omurwa. Bromell is on the bubble for the finals.
