There's a difference between winning when everyone falls (very memorable because of the whole race) or winning when other teams don't have their best names or someone simply isn't in the race or something.

 

Diehard fans will remember, most regular fans in a few years will only remember when searching for it and the rest won't even know it now.

Yes, I know this Mixed relay is brand new event, not very prestigious, not very relevant with US and some other teams in their B squads But still... 

If you can't get what you want, be happy with what is available.... 

 

But waiting for Dobek in tomorrow 800 final. If he could medal there, that would be a track medal in one of the really serious events...

I think the worse result in Atheltics will surely be Great Britain. No medals looks a serious possibility and I would not hesitate how much an effect that will have - even those putting in good performances will be affected.

I think you will be proven wrong tonight (assuming that women’s 800 m/pole vault is tonight). There will also be chances in women’s 1500 m, women’s heptathlon, women’s relays, men’s 4x100 m relay and maybe some other events too. I think GB will win at least 3 medals.

Well, you're right. They are Olympic champions! We should celebrate,

And it's the only gold medal for Poland so far, so we can't complain.

It may change with women's hammer tonight though...
