Mediterranean Games 2018

So Portugal seems like a great addition to the games, they seem commited to them and send a lot of sport teams. Hoping this would open other countrys to join the games, like Bulgaria or other asians like Iraq.

Iraq is just not Mediterranean. At all. :p

 

Only :ISR (not going to happen) :PLE:JOR could get added imo.

The groups for the 3x3 basketball

 

MEN'S

Group A: :SLO:TUN:ESP

Group B: :ITA:EGY:GRE 

Group C: :AND:SRB:CRO:POR

Group D: :FRA:TUR:MKD :CYP 

 

WOMEN'S

Group A: :AND:ITA:ESP:SRB:POR

Group B: :FRA:EGY:SLO:TUR:GRE

 

 

Also, the following event's dissapear from the competition, due to low numbers of people participating:

Athletics: 1500 Men's T54

Bowls: Raffa individual women, and men's and women's doubles.

Wrestling: 125kg men's

Boxing: -49kg

Weightlifting: Men's -62kg

Shooting: Men's Skeet

Rowing: LW2x

they can't find adequate athletes in men's skeet , OMG this's ridiculous

    • 2016 U20 world champion (800m) Kipyegon Bett , bronze at te 2017 senior world championships, has died yesterday after a month of illness. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kipyegon_Bett   Massive talent in 2015-2017 or so, got caught for EPO and never really competed anymore outside of Kenya after that.  
    • Fernandez defeats  Shnaider 6-7 (7), 6-3, 6-3 in the round of 64 at the Wuhan Open!    Best win for Canadian tennis in at least a month I would think?
    • Happy to see  bag 2 medals, possibly the best ever results.
