0-0 after 3 ends between Italy and Canada... what boring match

Almost the same in SUI vs GBR. I guess the players are very cautious in these first matches.

Wow, mistake by Italy allows Canada to steal 1 through 6 ends. I was starting to get very nervous! But then again, Italians have played very well and its not over yet

Anyone knows if there's a similar site to curlit.com, that has lovely play-by-play graphics for some events (apparently not for Olympic games though)?

EDIT: WCF has them, although, the image is tiny... http://www.worldcurling.org/owg2018/livescores

    • We´ll see. anyway, I hope hope so.   It was her first career senior bout, maybe a bit too early, to be thrown in the lion´s den, but if all this will result in a medal in LA 28 I am all in

    • @hckošice, even though Tomankova lost, she had a good fight against Costa, I think soon she and Babulfath will be the stars of -48kg.

    • Yeah, we have such a strong crop of Juniors, that we can’t take them all. They all have exciting trajectories but to predict what Junior swimmers will is always difficult. Better to let them all swim together at Juniors than rocketing them all up to seniors and swimming a prelim and going home.
    • Hanlon is the most unlucky, in my opinion. Aside from relay cover, she's the 50m champ and they made a point of including consideration for those events being in LA for the other discretionary picks. Essentially she has the same case for selection as Max Morgan (albeit without the trajectory right now).   Blocksidge's form was way off this week (compared to her previous bests). Obviously being still young you could put that down to relative inexperience. Still, she has World and European Juniors that she could still be selected for this summer. There's an argument that performing well at those might be as beneficial as going to Singapore.   That said, I'm happy that they did take a bunch of discretionary picks. That's not always been the case.
