Olympian1010 7,972 Posted June 13, 2020 #621 Share Posted June 13, 2020 The the WEC have put a lot of production value into this race. They seem to have cameras on most of the drivers, and the graphics are really cool. They have also been doing a couple of interviews with LeMans legends. rFactor2 is such a beautiful game. The camera shots feel much more realistic than the other sims. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. heywoodu 15,135 Posted June 13, 2020 #622 Share Posted June 13, 2020 Damn, Simon Pagenaud with an entire sim change (!) in a minute or so You know, because real pros have a back-up sim in the same room, just in case. Olympian1010 1 .

In terms of graphics and actual race info and such, this is being done so much better than many of the other races I've seen so far these months, absolutely Olympian1010 1 . I liked what they had in NASCAR, where everyone had one or two full resets during the race. Makes it a good mix of serious racing, because you don't wanna break your car, and fun, because that's what it's all about in the end. .

According to the commentators, there’s just no reset to pits in this race. Basically you have to get the car back to pit lane yourself, but that’s possible under all circumstances except connection issues. So if you’re unfamiliar with sim racing, then you might have to retire because you don’t know how to reconnect your internet or reset your sim. “Sport has the power to change the world. Olympian1010 7,972 Posted June 13, 2020 #630 Share Posted June 13, 2020 Damn, WEC has a nice studio for this race! Complete with commentary booth, race control, and multi camera broadcast booth! This really is a high value production for a virtual race. “Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire.
