According to english wikipedia, they want to push the whole volleyball indoor tournaments out of Paris and play it in Lille !

Why on earth they would want to do that?

 

That would be a stupid decision!

 

But the french wiki says it will be in Paris

Yess, of course stupid decision, Sailing in Marseille and Surf in Tahiti (French Polynesia)

Sailing could not be in Paris - that is understandable.

 

But why they try to move out of city handball or volleyball - one of the old, most interesting sports, normally core of the games, should be played in the golden circle. And they want us to watch skateboarding or breakdance on Champs-Élysées instead. Ehhh...

because it's to save money, and in my opinion it's strategic for tourism in the north
