Both are right  

 

I'm right in that the distance is really short, especially a world champs time trial should be a lot longer (at least around an hour, and with gender equality and everything I don't see why the women's one should be any shorter, especially not that much). 

He's right in that it takes a long time because they start in different groups instead of the way you see in normal time trials
