So our cycling federation will send 13 athletes (6 in mens Elite, 4 in mens juniors, 1 in womens elite and 1 in womens juniors + thanks the UCI invitational wild card we added to the team also 1 participant in the Under 23 category) but all will compete only in the road races, we will not field any athlete in the Time trials events.

 

The Goal of the team is the 3rd consecutive and historic world title for Peter. It will be ofc difficult to achieve, certainly he will be the most watched rider in the peloton. but this time at least he will have 5 teammates, in the previous 2 titles he had always only two.

This is not good..

 

 

Not only exclusive rights of the road world champs (which should mean it won't be on Dutch and Belgian TV anymore, except for shitty Eurosport), but even for the cyclo-cross as well. Which is insane to think those world champs wouldn't be on Belgian TV, it's THE Belgian sport.. 

 

Edit: I missed the small letters saying in some countries it's non-exclusive, like in the Netherlands and Belgium

Maybe if they go back to the old format and have a real, 100km TTT instead of those short events
