Equestrian at the Summer Olympic Games 2020

I don't like this format. One fence down and you are basically out? Ridiculous.

Mostly because all other championships are NOTHING like this. There are usually 3 jumping rounds before the individual final starts.

Ya, the old format was much, much better.

2 faults being the cut-off for the final is kind of ridiculous.

Also no ties for 30th so we will only have 30 individual finalists. I'm sure everyone who made it is pleased about that.

so in the final also clear will qualify to jump-off or there'll be time ?

There will be a jump-off for sure.

FEI once again reinvented the rules specially for the Olympics. Table A with riders on 0 penalties ranked (but not tied) according to time is basically against the very idea of this sport.

Nz Meech barely qualifies with 2 time penalties ;)

Really don't like this one round for qualification. I don't see the appeal of separating individual and team qualifiers. Tv already only shows finals

@dcro I did not understood the competition structure, could yo help me understand them, I also saw that Ashley Bond did a great time is it influences tomorrow’s final session? And what are her chances?

It only impacts the start list. She will be one of the last to start.

Everyone starts on 0 penalties.
