I was certain he missed that. Why is the device that measures steps called a “pedometer” then. I thought “pedo” is the Greek root for foot/feet?

Yeah, I just searched it. Latin and Greek both have “Ped” as a root, but Latin adds an “o” (so Pedo) to mean feet.
