By the way, a Belgian article says Belenenses specifically didn't want to ask for postponement? Not only that it wasn't going to be postponed, but that they made the choice not to ask for it..

Yeah, but I mean, better than having nine field players and no goalkeeper, I think the average goalkeeper playing as a field player does less damage than the average field player playing as a goalkeeper  

 

But yeah, not ideal anyway and whether it ends up being 0-14 or 0-10....I doubt it makes much difference for anyone

Belenenses came up from the halftime with only 7 (two others were injured) and during the second half another one got injured, thus ending the match.

 

Not sure if real injuries, but best decision to be done. Absolutely shameful behavior from Portuguese football, this does not belong in an European championship.

"Palmeiras doesn't have a WC title" is probably the longest running joke among brazilian football fans. Of course I want them to win, but I'm fine as long as the team keeps achieving stellar results like this.
