David Taylor surprisingly came out of retirement to try his chance in US trials at 92kg for 2024 World Championships (non-Olympic weights) this weekend
there are some rumors that the great Abdulrashid Sadulev also wants to try his chance at 92kg to add another world title to his resume, personally I think that's not correct but we will see.
but if this is true and if Taylor wins the US trials and again if Albania don't act shit like last year it will be a hell of a competition between Taylor, Sadulaev and Ghasempour. much more interesting than anything we saw in Paris.
ps: the great Jordan Burroughs will wrestle in US trials too, probably for his last hurrah
What's so about wanting to make sure you can still have a life after your sports career (other than the default 'I was a good athlete so I will be a good coach' train of thought)?
