So the Day 1 ended with a expected total Russian domination of 9 medals (4 of them Golds) and a total of 10 different countries winning medals in this 1st official day, don´t forget that all results with the actual medal standings can be found in our Results Database Here

So far I am kind of disappointed by the amount of photos and especially videos that are available. All I found in terms of videos was some very general things on FISU's YouTube channel and video's of press conferences on Almaty's official channels, but that's it...no highlights of the specific sports or even rewatching the events on livefisu.tv or anything.. :(
