The coach of Finnish skier Nea Luukko went to a bar and drank some coffee with the Belarussian coach, where they got talking about the rules for skis. After that, the Finnish coach decided to check Luukko's skis, just to make things sure, and discovered they didn't meet the requirements 

 

The next day she won a silver medal, instead of being disqualified for having wrong skis

Team USA is hosting an invitation-only dinner at the moment, somewhere far outside the Athletes Village. Interesting that they invited a tiny team like Brazil while many others aren't there

poor The USA mens hockey team is out only because China send probably the weakest hockey male team in history of this sport... USA defeated GBR 10-1 and aspired to advance for the QF as one of the best 3rd ranked with 3 points and equal total score 11-11, but then came Sweden which was 0-2 so far with overal score 0-10 to play against China "punchbag" team and ofc won easily 15-0 and suddenly with overal score 15-10 move up and send the US to the placement round...it´s just unbelievable how can be a team so extremely weak even at this universiade level
