Japanese were quite ok with skating, passing but their shooting and sometimes "feeling of the game" was too weak

I fell in love with sports.....since i first seen it

Credit where credit is due, Schelling is a very good GK. The Japanese were also superior technically to what I expected.

yep, they have a future, some of their players were really good, they lacked sth in defense and a goalie

plus too soft shooting. As for a non-ice hockey nation (in a way) they were really ok but uncapable of turning it into goals.

good effort by the Japanese girls...

but SUI is clearly superior in almost any aspect of the game...skating well and fast doesn't mean that much in this sport (though sometimes it helps)...

    • If Colturi were to return to Italy, we will have another super duo after Goggia and Brignone. If Colturi has to return, it would be right now, when alpine skiing is so popular here. There are still girls like Pirovano, who are quite young and are already started winning. Alpine skiing in Italy is similar to ski jumping in Poland: there are speak about no young talents, but there is always someone new – it is a matter of the popularity of these sports in these countries and the large amounts of money invested in them.

    • Holdener beat Aicher for 2nd place by 0.04 so Aicher has to win the last GS to have any chance for the overall (trails Shiffrin by 85 pts).

    • Lucas seems to be on another level in Giant Slalom right now.
