^ Everything is unofficial so far. It's between :NOR Holmenkollen and :FIN Kontiolahti.

:BLR Raubichi are in but they have no chances.

Our male team wanted :KAZ Almaty (after Universiade), our female team roots for Holmenkollen.

ps. FIS suspended 6 Russian skiers (including Legkov & Vylegzhanin). All of them took part in Sochi Olympics (4 medals). I guess all these cases in other winter sports will influence biathlon too.

Some news from SVK team, After long discussions between our coaches and national federation, it was decided that we must compete at each World cup stage in order to maintain the 10 olympic quotas. so we will start also in Oberhof, but not in full composition.

only 3 mens and 2 womens will compete in Oberhof.

Men

Tomáš Hasilla

Martin Otčenáš

Michal Kubaliak

Women

Jana Gereková

Terézia Poliaková

* Anastasiya Kuzmina was given a "free choice" so she and her miniteam will announce her final decision if or not competing in Obehof in the next days.

The good news is that we will also compete in PyeongChang World cup stage with a full team 4 + 4

Yes. We will not send anyone to the first IBU Cup January stages in Martell, because it´s the highest situated biathlon venue and our athletes aren´t apparently prepared for that, source our biathlon national team coaches :dunno: and they will prefer to use this time for training camp and preparation for the upcomming European Championships which are the top goal of our so called "B" team. meanwhile we will compete the next stage in Arber but we will send only 2 mens Ondrej Kosztolányi and the junior Simon Bartko, and only 1 women Alžbeta Majdišová.

We are slowly developing a complex about this country, because we are constantly losing to them in sabre too. Sabre has always been Ukrainian, epee for a draw or our slight advantage but a failed in women`s foil, which is already a shocking novelty
