They want the athletes to watch the remaining of the ceremony. This is possible in Paralympics because there are much less athletes than in Olympics.

All tickets for the Opening Ceremony were sold

 

For Paralympics in general, 65% til yesterday. Not that great but organizers are hoping to sell more during competition.

A simple thing, but I always adored how all technical stuff, from the opening cereminies to the onscreen graphics stays the same as olympic games. Nice sign of support to the guys.
