Russian first channel announced special Olympic service: 9 channels http://www.1tv.ru/rio2016 (available from August, 6).

I think it will be geoblocked too but until launch I can't say this exactly

Any link for the Opening Ceremony? NBC starting it 4 hours after it actually started and thats the only event without a live stream , so like firstrowsports.eu or maybe something better?

How i can watch the full replay?  :mumble:

www.rai.it/rio2016

go to the "calendario" item and choose the evnt you want to watch (for on-demand events there are 3 audio options: Italian - not always - English and Environmental Sound only - those 2 are always available, Live events only have Italian audio - when available - and stadium sound only and they are sligthly worse than recorded files for what concerns the picture quality)...

p.s. the football games are recorded as full sessions, so you have the 2 games played in the same stadium in the same video file...

p.p.s. there's also an APP for Android phones with the same features...

BBC website, all the way (but you need a VPN, better if a "serious" paid one...but it works also with Hola, which is free but not advisable for your privacy and security)...

I saw some people bring up nbc with vpn.    Nbc requires you to have a cable subscription.   Without it you get one hour

http://www.1tv.ru/shows/rio2016/stream 9 different live broadcasts, but you should use a VPN, because translation only for Russia

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
