Looks like there is still no Kristel Vourna. I wonder if they took away her quota once again.

also World archery still has in the entry list Carla Frangilli for Cote d´Ivoire and absolutely any news about the greek girl   someone would think that we are still some 1 year to the Games and not 10 days :d

They also deleted 6 russian swimmers (Yulia Efimova (breaststroke), Natalia Lovtcova (50 freestyle), Daria Ustinova (backstroke), Vladimir Morozov (50, 100 freestyle), Nikita Lobintsev (200 freestyle), Mikhail Dovgalyuk (4x200 freestyle))

No Morozov will suck for the sprints.

It was the only hope in swimming. Moreover, it is like Klishina, he lives for many years in the USA. He has already appeared accent. My prediction for the one medal for Evgeny Rylov or Anastasia Fesikova.

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
    • Yeah, they do get broadcast pretty regularly.  I remember even back in Bode Miller's day they would show the training.
