Here are possible Group A outcomes:

 

BLR v JAM will decide everything

 

  • If Jamaica wins - :GIB:GUI Q directly, :JAM repechage
  • If they draw or Belarus wins 5:3 - :GIB:GUI Q directly, :BLR repechage
  • If Belarus wins 6:2 - :GIB Q directly, :GUI:BLR step into wilderness (and wait for the JSP presumably)
  • If Belarus wins 7:1 or 8:0 - :GIB:BLR Q directly, :GUI repechage

So Gibraltar and Japan are going to be sipping cocktails since their match has no impact whatsoever in all of the many scenarios mentioned :d

Today's Group B match between Kiribati and Sri Lanka will go a long way to decide who will qualify from the group. A victory for either nation will guarantee that they progress from the group stages as either an automatic qualifier or as a repechage qualifer.

A defeat for Sri Lanka on the other hand and their chances of a Top 3 place would be slim.

 

A total of 8 match judges have been assigned the task of adjudicating this match.

The judges are each allocated a specialised hut which are located at various vantage points surrounding the arena where the artists will perform.

These judging huts can be seen in the diagram below with their locations denoted by letters (K, E, H, C, M, B, F and A).

Another huge game in Group B coming up now as Somalia take on Puerto Rico. Somalia will book their place in the Round of 16 as Group B winners with a victory today.

Puerto Rico will also secure a minimum of a repechage spot if they win so there is a lot at stake.
