Last year he had a brilliant season except for the Olympics. This year he wasn't quite as good.

And there are younger British 800m runners who are just as promising.

Qualifying for the GBR team over 800m for LA will be brutal.

At the moment I can think of 10 runners who could reach a semi-final or final on their best form or if they improve as we expect them to but whether they could win a medal is very different

but -as i mentioned earlier- that is the main problem here. Chat GPT doesn’t know much about what happened after mid-2024. Doesn’t look after 2025 results by himself. Only when you specifically ask him to do that
