Thank you Slovenia! Argentina get their second 12 points of this year's contest to keep their hopes of a podium finish very much alive.

 

Big points also for Italy who become the 3rd nation to breach the 100-point barrier and they close the gap to France in 2nd.

 

That concludes the third session of this year's TISC Annual. Ireland maintain the lead as they have from the very start of the contest. Their lead now stands at 28 points which is sizeable though not insurmountable with 8 juries still to vote, including Ireland.

 

We will take a 1 hour 30 minute break now and will resume the fourth and final session at 19:00 GMT.

Team Event

 

 

So at the end of Session 3 the two teams finishing 6th and 7th and eliminated from the team competition are the Kilkenny Cats and the Wicklow Wolfhounds. Commiserations to both teams!

 

The top 5 teams make it through to the final. There will be no elimination, the teams that accumulate the most points during session 4 will win the gold, silver and bronze

This year's Mediterranean trophy is really very competitive.  and   still have a chance of winning when there is only one session left.

The Pairs Competition is wide open with the Portugal/China pair leading the way at the halfway mark.

But lots more points opportunities still to come, including a double points sprint at the very end

Wow! Not a good 3rd session for , but is fun to watch the changes in positions.
