:CAN Courtney Sarault is my short track Stefania Constantini  :hearts: Hope she does well tonight.

And she's from :NBR :D

She could become the first woman from my home province to win an Olympic gold. New Brunswick only has one gold medalist in it's entire history (Russ Howard).

And the province with the highest HST rate in Canada. :d  Sometimes it's a drag to calculate those 15%

I live in Washington state now and I always chuckle when people here complain about taxes. New Brunswick is, as far as I know, the highest tax province in Canada (both for HST and income taxes). It's also one of the poorest region of Canada (don't get me wrong, it's quite wealthy by world standards, but compared to the rest of Canada or the US it's definitively not very well off).

Sarault sounds too Quebec-ish but I googled her father so yeah, that makes sense :p

About 1/3 of New Brunswickers are Francophones, though more Acadians than Quebecois (I’m halfzies, one Quebecois parent and one Acadian parent)

Sarault is also :USA from her birth in Michigan. But obviously chose to compete for :CAN which is where she’s actually grown up.
