Sure, but that is still different than a full speed race run. It's not without reason lots of people were saying this might be medically irresponsible if she was indeed as badly injured as she made it sound like.

Selfish of  Vonn to even start having injury.... not only she injured herself more, she's ruining competition for the others... Athletes should serve some consequences for selfish decisions like this as its affecting the rest of competition

That was excruciating to watch.  Almost hate that I woke up early to this.  Hoping that Lindsey is okay because I know she doesn't want this event to be about her for a reason like this.

 

For those outside of the United States.. yes, USA Network is covering this live and in real time.  They haven't cut away, but they've gone to commercial because that video and audio is just tough
