Honestly not the Swiss guy I pitched to the gold today but still it seems I got the whole podium right in our prediction game 🫡

Yep!  One of only two.  About to get those results up.

So they have already declared the medal winners yet there’s athletes still going. That feels wrong.
I agree that the start list should be the other way around

It happens in the World Cup too: there’s an informal podium ceremony after the top 30… and then every now and then someone from further back can still pull off a surprise win.

Hopefully there's no Ester Ledecká still to run!

They called off the 3rd training run for the W DH.  (But though the results mean nothing, it's nice seeing :USA 1 and 3...with 3 being Vonn!)

Nice start for :SLO according to season results.

12. Miha Hrobat (missed top 10 only by 0.10)

16. Martin Čater (sadly missed WCSL points for 0.01)

This means 10th place remains best DH result in history (Boštjan Kline in 2022).

    • I think the reason is that it's generally preferable to have a fast shooter in the 1st leg, and especially in the prone shooting, where Hofer is quite slow.   Now, I'm not saying I agree with the choice, because I don't. I think it's going to neutralize Giacomel's skiing skills in the 1st lap at least.   I guess the idea is to try and set a very fast pace in the 1st leg, which is usually quite tactical, but I'm afraid that's going to force Giacomel to risk too much because he will feel he has to make some time somehow.   Regardless, Italy must be on the podium tomorrow. I think that would be crucial for the following races as well. I think France is the clear favorite, but the other teams are not stronger than Italy on paper.
