Vonn has had a lot of experience skiing injured...she's probably like, 'It's just a torn ACL'.  Probably just being dead will prevent her from skiing.

 

(I jokingly told my wife this morning that after these Olympics and having two busted up knees, she probably will get them amputated, then come back as a medal-winning Paralympic skier.)

Bruna met Lucas Braathen today in the preparations for their opening ceremony tonight, I was kind of afraid about what kind of person he would be in real life because, you know, so many athletes are totally different in real life....but apparently he is genuinely super nice and friendly, and his enthusiasm you see on social media is absolutely real, he came across as super excited to have a cool show for Brazil  

 

Happy to know, now I'll cheer for him

Always mixed feelings about this: the event of alpine skiing, fantastic to start with that, but also the rest feels a bit 'meh' if the King of Events has already gone

Yes, the dream is still alive. But honestly, I am not so sure she will participate. She is getting ready on snowboard, she spoke today in favor of snowboard. But let's see what she is going to do. Today, she was practicing on snowboard, not sure whether she would transfer on skis. But let's see and hop for the best possibility...
