and here we go...

also fencing is no longer on Youtube, now they have their brilliant fencing.tv, which means no app, no tv, just on pc and mobile phones and only after registration (now it's still free, but we all know what this means in mid/long term...they're going pay soon as wrestling & judo did in the last few years)

they just want to lose the few fans they have, I guess

fuck them all :bones:

And it's also blocked in Italy for some reason...I get it for the final four but it makes no sense at all for the first rounds, they are not on tv.

trying to access on my pc, it was blocking everything...had to clear cache and cookies to fix the problem

however, then I tried with my vpn (set on Albania) and now it works perfectly, I could register (with my regular mail and declaring I'm Italian) and now I'm watching

I'm ok with the layout (simple, easy to navigate and choose the stream you want, not messed up like YT), but still, they have to develop a good app for connected devices (firestick and tv screens mainly), otherwise it will never be a friendly experience

ps no streaming available for the the early rounds before T64 in the individual events and before T16 in the team events

when they were on YT, also the preliminary rounds were available (at least in the last few years)

no good dear FIE :spank:

Yeah, def not going to pay for fencing and TV shows f all here.

Not going to pay for fencing so if that's the case, it's goodbye to watching Fencing.

Finals are also on Olympic channel (which isn't much better tbf), it seems. Dunno at what time they will open up their stream, but I guess in 3.5 hours?

final session is scheduled at 4 p.m. CET (luckily, here in Italy it's always live on TV, but still, if they go pay for their streaming, it's a big loss for fencing fans -especially for the world cup events, which are never broadcasted on regular tv)
