No. English players go down only if they are mauled to death. You could see she was brought off the field in a coffin.

And so, a big applause for this girls. This summer the basketball and football women teams followed a similar path: ambition, fight and a minimal defeat at the end. Despite this a big applause for them. If only the men's national team could compete with such ambition.

Disappoint for the results, and for waste the advantage in (only two minutes left......), but this team exceeded all expectations

:ITA :thankyou:

England have many good players and maybe the best coach in women's football: Sarina Wiegman

She keeps up her record of reaching the final of every Women's EURO (2017, 2022, 2025) and FIFA Women's World Cup (2019, 2023) where she has been head coach (of the Netherlands and England).

Still the referee should have at least to watch VAR before awarding a penalty in the 118th minute that would decide the outcome of the match. In situations like these a penalty needs to be obvious to be awarded and this referee- lady whistles without hesitation, as if nothing had happened.

Personally, I don't see any great talent in these English girls. They're simply physically strong. The Spanish have talent. Our girls need to improve their physical preparation and we'll easily be at the level of England, Germany, Sweden, etc. on the every big tournament. It's a shame that Girelli is already 35 and will soon be leaving. We could use a talented star with a flash of genius.

England have maybe a 10% chance against Spain after two 120-minute matches, so prepare for another defeat in the final. For us, the semi-final is still a great success.

I'm still preparing

Well done girls, showing our men how to get across the line again

Lol and this was the famed Spanish team, with all the best players, that I always hear are winning every award   Especially that forward, who was sent to win the match, Paraluello (?) was comically bad. They have a long, long way to go before being like the men's team.
