She also lost sometimes in the World Cup last year- nothing special, but the return of Rus has made the competition even tougher and Raffaeli will have a hard time to winning more medals - it seems that her best time for Olympic gold was in 2024... Unfortunately, Raffaeli's peak was probably in 2022 at the World Championships.

Varfolomeev lost in Tashkent! :hairpull:

She just change in one routine music haha :D she was after 2 days after Borisova, Ikromova and Lewinska 😀  Great start of season for Asia (China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Japan). Europe need to start to wake up (place from ranking to Asia is a lost for Europe)! Poor debut for Mexico. Brazil needs practice, but it is interesting

Varfolomeev flopped so hard it should've been studied. She is horrible in apparatus, and with that tendency judges gonna soon underappreciate her, what I can't wait to see :yes

Just an inspiring story of perseverance: Geovanna Santos is competing in her ninth season as a senior gymnast. Most gymnasts retire after four or five years, so even competing at the highest level in her ninth year is already unusual.

However, this year she achieved a breakthrough result by earning her very first medal on the World Cup circuit, winning bronze on ribbon at the Tashkent World Cup.

It’s never too late to achieve success.
