We South Americans barely know about Guyana, Suriname and French Guyana, they are more related to caribean countries.

 

Cricket is very popular there and they have some of the best players in the world, their National Team and Football teams plays for CONCACAF cuz their level is so low for CONMEBOL.

 

And yes, they have a dispute with Venezuela, but it will never become a war, its just political stuff cuz they found a lot of oil in Guyana. Actually Venezuela and Guyana dont have a road between them cuz of dense florests of Amazon Rain Forest, so, if Venezuela one day want to attack they gonna have to invade Brazil and its never gonna happen lol.

In general, how would you compare Venezuela just before Chavez's time to the current situation? I ask because things weren't looking good economically in the second half of the 1990s either. There is little material about Venezuela before Chavez on internet.

Don't know much about it, but my father travelled the world with his work, and he said that Venezuela was the best place he'd ever been.  That was 50s-70s.  It's a hellhole now.

Yes, in the region.

It is a huge city with more than a million inhabitants. A nuclear reactor is situated there. But it does not stop russians from bombing the city which they cannot capture - just destroy.

It is a big center of sports in Ukraine - especially ice sports, athletics, artistic swimming.
A big number of inhabitants in combination with sport objects created space for sport selections and search for young talents.

But now... A lot was bombed. Children have to study in the underground schools. So a lot of people are trying to send children away.
A lot of them are in Europe. And our coaches say that at the torunaments abroad a local colleagues thank them for young talanted Ukrainian athletes. 

It is not a big deal in football where they still can represent Ukraine. But in gymnastics and athletics they will be naturalized mostly. You see - there is no new generation of Ukrainian athletes at this World Championship.
