First 22 meter shot put toss of the year [22.04]by jordan geist at the ostrava meet yesterday

also, great competition in the men's LJ, with world champion  :ITA Mattia Furlani edging out :GRE Tentoglu and :BUL Sarabuyukov, 8.30m to 8.23m to 8.21m

indoor european champion :ITA Zeynab Dosso made her season debut with a win in her favourite 60m dash in 7.09

:HUN Attila Molnar set a new european record in the men's 400m with 45.01 (previously held by :GDR Thomas Schoenlobe 😱)

all in all, a very entertaining meet

22.04 again by geist in madrid, enrique Llopis finally gets the national 60 hurdle record for himself with 7.45 in the final.Charity hufnagel :USA gets a 1.96 pb to win ahead of world silver medalist Maria Zodzik[1.94,sb].And Agata de Sousa :PORwon the women's long jump with a huge indoor pb and new Wl of 6.97.

there was also a high jump meet in germany levchenko won the women's comp with 1.95- a 1 cm seasons best, the men's winner with a 2.28 PB was :ALG Younes Ayachi who is-17 YEARS OLD,already an algerian indoor record holder, overall equal second now on the all time algerian list[the national record holder took bronze in sydney],huge potential in the future, there is a competition video, his clearences look HUGE he actually needed second attempts at 2.20,and 2.23 but cleared 2.26 and 2.28 on his first attempts :hairpull:. he opened with 2.26 in belgium on the 31st where Christian Fallochi  needed to jump a pb after ALMOST NINE YEARS to deny him the win, fallochi was at this german meet also and was second with 2.23.Also the only ones to jump higher than Ayachi this year so far are three Russians,so i guess this is an unofficial world lead.

5.91 from Kc Lightfoot at the .....wooo pig classic[i can't.....],also Julien Alfred was at this meet opening her season, she ran 7.04 in the heats, and 7.00 in the final for a new world lead.

also hustopeče high jump meet was yesterday, eleanor patterson won the women's comp to no surprise with 1.96 so direct qualifier to indoor worlds.Men's high jump was a surprise however, previous two time winner woo sanghyeok didn't even make the podium this year with just 2.25,Oleh Doroshchuk was third with 2.28.The winner was Mateusz Kolodziejski who equaled his personal best of 2.25[which was just from this january] before he jumped over 2.28 and 2.30 on his second attempts.Second place went to Naoto Hasegawa with 2.30 [equal eight now on the all time japan list]also set two personal bests in his first competition of the season,he stopped from trying 2.32 after a scary slip and slide into the structure of the high jump in the first attempt but he seemed to be fine afterwards, both made the direct qualifier for the world indoors and are the first two male high jumpers to do so.
