Podhale Nowy Targ won a grand total of ONE match out of 40 in the regular season (also one loss in PSO) for a shattering ammount of 4 points. Reg season winners GKS Tychy had 95 points.

Yeah, I'm old enough to remember that too. Podhale was the best Polish team in the mid 90s alas they were even more dominant in the 70s (nine straight titles between 1971-79 :p ). They still have the most titles overall (19) alas their last one came in 2010 and they're a looong way off the pace these days.
