Curling Discussion | Qualification to Winter Olympic Games Milano Cortina 2026 Road to Milano Cortina 2026

Einarson was looking good for a couple throughout most of the end. Cue Homan, two consecutive doubles and we get a blank end.

Einarson way light on her last, steal of 2 for Homan and she’s in some real trouble now.

Homan leads 5-1 after the 8th end, well on her way to a second consecutive Scotties title now.

Team Homan win this year’s Scotties, their second title in a row, defeating Team Einarson 6-1 in the final!

Undefeated all week long for both. :hyper:

Skaslien/Nedregotten win :NOR Championships and will look to win a hat trick of Olympic medals in Milano-Cortina next year, assuming they qualify of course.

Team Jacobs win this years Brier, defeating Team Dunstone 5-3 in the final. Undefeated in round robin, lost the page 1/2 qualifier, then rattled off four straight wins for the title.

Jacobs with his first Brier title in 12 years.

So far :SUI :CAN :KOR :SWE have all qualified for the women's tournament (along with host :ITA ).

Very likely that :DEN and :SCO / :GBR will also qualify, with the last spot from the combined 2024 and 2025 worlds likely coming down to :NOR (who is currently very narrowly in a qualification position), :USA or :CHN (who needs a very high finish after missing the 2024 worlds).
