Since they don't have a separate sports federation within the sport the issue can be avoided though I guess nothing is stopping World Rugby from admitting the Maori Nation as a national federation. In the end non-member nations shouldn't be allowed to compete, but that won't stop the bad PR from coming. They can't even compromise and say they can compete as a second team under a NOC because a) their land spans through Canada and the United States and b) the nation will not accept this. -
Yep, in the case of for example Kenyans going to Bahrain, the problem is definitely for a very large part with Kenya. Not just in terms of it's competitiveness of course, but also plenty of stories of athletes being very much mistreated. -

Start lists for tomorrow's junior super sprints are out, and as expected, quite a few well-known names from mostly Eastern European nations, mixed in with some lesser known from other nations. The more exotic nations one tends to see at these things are there as well, including Brazil, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. Actually Georgia as well this time, that's nice and I wonder if IBU has finally moved away from using the Georgian flag that was replaced in 2004 (last time they still used the old one in their system).

I’m not completely sure on that, don’t know why I assumed All of Canada’s sitting volleyball matches (and a bunch of others obviously) will be streamed on YouTube, unlike in previous editions of the Paralympics, so I’d have to assume there’s at least going to be more coverage. -
All events?! Wow, that'd be awesome, especially since YouTube is by far the easiest platform to rewatch when you've missed something. I don't know which events I want to watch, but Dutch broadcaster is NOS, so they aren't going to show anything at all most likely.
