Team GB Daily: Day 6

Sam Sills currently in 8th in the men’s windsurfing which would gain him a space in a quarter final as things stand.

 

No action yet for Emma Wilson today in the women’s windsurfing, but she’s currently 1st in the standing which would automatically progress her to the final.

 

In the women’s skiff Team GB didn’t qualify for the medal race. As discussed, the men’s skiff medal race has been interrupted. Mathematically the men can challenge for a medal but it depends on lots of other boat placements etc. 

 

Rough start for Beckett in the men’s dinghy with a 19th place. Ladies dinghy yet to get underway.

Frenchman will be tough to beat if he gets a clean run but Clarke has it all to play for.

Two bad races for Beckett as well considering he’s a gold medal chance. Hopefully he has a better day of it tomorrow and can put a set of results together.

Other than Emma Wilson sailing has not been good so far.
