I think the battle between France and us on the medal table will go to the France but every medal counts in getting to that 50 target. Bronze. Bronze. Bronze. RussB 189 Posted July 31 #22 Share Posted July 31 (edited) Yep - in the end far too strong and what a performance by the Swiss athlete! good news for our team relay that GTB will be competitive, especially over the relay distance. Not sure how we beat the French though who will have Beaugrand on the last leg Edited July 31 by RussB

Bronze. Bronze. Bronze. I hadn't even considered that we'd even be in a battle with France on the table anyway. Hosts should always comfortably be in that 3rd spot (assuming its not a major nation like Brazil)

The presence of Lombardi as a second French athlete right up there is a killer. It's a shame given how strong we are, but huge medal favourites still of course. RussB 189 Posted July 31 #25 Share Posted July 31 I think you have to hope Yee gets a gap on leg 3 and Beth can maintain that through the swim and maybe enhance it on the bike. Got To put cass under pressure on the bike
Jon 43 Posted July 31 #26 Share Posted July 31 (edited) Charlotte Fry gets 78.913 in the dressage. Highest score so far, but German riders still to come. Edited July 31 by Jon

Do these scores count as part of the on going individual comp all the way through like in eventing, or do they get wiped etc and this is just a qualification round for the individual?
