Wow, Lulu Sun into 4th round! It is amazing she capitalized on that Zheng upset which, given Zheng's form and her prowess on grass, is more of an upset ranking-wise. Some remarkable stats broken by her for a player from NZ: first female in Wimbledon last 16 since 1959 (Ruia Morrison) - that would make her so far the only female in the Open era! She is the first singles player to reach last 16 at a Grand Slam since Brett Steven in 1997. Additionally gets comfortably into top 100. With Erin Routliffe, there is someone to cheer for and expect some decent results here in there. Hopefully this could change something and inspire more people to pursue career in tennis, cause there are no some big prospects coming up. Well, there is always possibility to import someone :d

Sun is probably going to be stopped by Raducanu, who has amazing opportunity to reach the semifinals and why not even win it. Keys playing great taking out Gauff, then losing her head in the semifinals. On the other side, Ons peaking again and taking everyone out just to hand the trophy to Raducanu in the final

:POL Hubert Hurkacz suffered a knee injury diving to a net ball and has withdrew from R2 match vs :FRA Arthur Flis.

It's anyone's guess how that affects the Olympics participation now.

Was it really that bad so he had to forfeit on the match point? :yikes:

Yeah, he couldn't move at all. He suffered the injury on a play that gave him SP but quickly lost the next two points and conceded on Fils' SP.

Still no details on how serious this injury is.

Emma Raducanu withdrew from mixed doubles so Andy Murray won't be playing at Wimbledon at all :coffee:

He played in men's doubles but lost in the first round.

Speaking of Raducanu, Sakkari losing to that thing again was so embarrassing
