Thailand streams very well including local boxing tournaments. Why aren't they coming now? In IWF WC they streamed group B C D etc on Thai weightlifting channel

Results for first sessions are out. To be fair, I wasn’t expecting them this quickly (even if lack of live scoring and streaming shouldn’t be acceptable)

The final days will be on YouTube too. There is no streaming until then

I meant specifically the Olympic Channel, which claims to cover all rounds. But it says I'm geoblocked even though no one has the rights to the tournament here (ROU). The same was true for Busto Arsizio (i.e. no rights holders for ROU), which I could watch without problems. Not sure what the problem is.

I do not see information that they stream preliminaries. It looks like nobody streams it at all, so it is noot a question of copyright.

Bohdan posted media from our national federatiion. They posted results of Ukrainian boxers quickly during the first tournament - and are doing the same here

because it's not up to them (as it wasn't up to any Italian TV when the 1st world qualifier was held here)

anything related to the organization of these events is completely in the hands of the IOC

if there's someone to blame (also for the scandalous results, should they happen), it's the 1976 Fencing Olympic Champion in charge of the circus named IOC

    • The number of DNFs today is going to be legendary
    • Many DNFs among the lesser skiers now. They don't have stamina for this long course.   Kiara Derks should hang on to 30th place with 7.35 secs deficit and will open the 2nd run! @heywoodu
    • Finland has had better results in biathlon than ski-jumping for 15 years now
    • Camille Rast has laid down a good marker and leads by 0.58 after seven skiers ahead of Liensberger and Shiffrin. Holdener only 4th, Ljutic with a big mistake and over 2 seconds behind. Duerr also underwhelming and Hector dead last.
    • Let's hope the Brazilian federation will also realize she is actually capable of becoming a World Cup regular (not saying a podium finisher or something, but definitely someone who is good enough to mostly do World Cups), and start supporting her eventually, she absolutely deserves that.
    • Group B of the boys ice hockey tournament was rather interesting, with  winning one game each.
    • Perfect team synchro performance from Sweden. 0-2 for everyone.   As usual not the best skiing for the swedes on altitude and Elvira Oberg appearantly is still affected of her cold the last weeks when she skiis slower than Halvarsson.   however a nice podium and happy for Minkinnen! A bit sad about Haecki who lost even the silver because she had to wait out the wind in her final shooting.
    • Rivalry Saturday is just around the corner.   First up is  Finland vs.  Sweden at 13:00 EST (19:00 CEST)   Then the night game is  USA vs.  Canada at 20:00 EST (2:00 CEST on Sunday)
