Feels really deserved for the  to finally win a 7s medal given their teams on both the men’s and women’s side are always competitive and well supported.

 

Also, they are the only first time medalist in Rugby 7s at these Olympics (assuming we don’t count the XVs medals)

United States has won a rugby sevens medal before, just not in the women’s tournament and all the way back in 1924.

That was XVs, not 7s
