If you read the comments in every argentinian media, you wont find many post from your point of view, may be is a diference between Buenos Aires and the rest of the country.

Generally awful people comment in such places but I did say we're a minority.

Ok, we agree in how many are from both positions at least.

Even my leftist friends asume this like "football floklore", for that reason i presume is more something Buenos Aires Vs Interior thant righ vs left thing.

I don't know anyone that identifies as "progressive" who wouldn't be utherly embarassed to sing that in public.

 

I will admit, though, that the clear majority of people think "it's not a big deal" even if they're aware it's highly offensive.

    • Franchi had a similarly impressive performance at the 2023 World Championships on the same distance but later she completly missing. I hope that with Gismondi will be different, especially since she was already a great talent in her junior years. The problem in Italy is that for the past 15 years, aside from Pellegrino, there has been a miss of stability in other athletes: there are some booms of excellent form, but later they disappear. I also worry that funding for cross-country skiing will be cut after the Cortina Olympics.
