I've seen one cross elimination run. My Atari games seemed more serious. Is the world ending, shall i buy some rice and water? 😉😉. What the (d)uck is this? Im staying with Jethro Tull and Camel even stronger now🙂. The only thing similar i have ever seen was the idiot games by Monty Python.

I fell in love with sports.....since i first seen it

I'm enjoying watching it. Whether it should be an Olympic event is a different matter. Looking forward to seeing the top paddlers against each other later in the event.

IMO Kayak Cross is, by far, the most boring snowboard-cross inspired event.

In the words of one @hckošice  :p

"Why not add another event for Jessica Fox to compete... If Jessica Fox can win medals in it, then it surely will be an Olympic event. I won't be surprised if they add slalom canoeing boxing, where you run the course and hit targets with the paddle along the way. We need more events, so Jessica Fox can be in the full 2 weeks program. " :d

I would prefer to see 2 competitors from one country in classical slalom disciplines than this new kayak cross stuff.

But at least it is a last chance for :CZE how to avoid the first games in 30 years without a medal.

    • It's all hogwash especially in the short attention span generation. Like nobody cares about Free Tibet anymore either. Free Palestine will last a lot longer due to Saudi Arabia becoming a sponsorship force in sports.   Israel is too weak in soccer to qualify from UEFA zone. The only time they qualified was from the Asian zone and they only beat Australia & New Zealand who were complete nobodies in the 1960s. No such luck in the 60 years since.
    • Oh I assure you FIFA dodger a bullet with Israel not qualifying…   But ya that’s kind of the thing, shut up and dribble is a mantra anti LGBT people have used often. I don’t think it’s hypocritical to remind them of their position
    • Ah, yes but that's not how pro athletes are taught in North America these days? Shut up & dribble is xenophobic, racist or whatever? The hypocrisy of some of these policies were exposed during 2022 World Cup already where the Saudis played it smart and waved their own "Free Palestine' slogans. Forget LGBT rights for a moment, how many 'Free Palestine' flags will be waved in 2026? Or will those be confiscated by default? Somehow I feel this won't be met with similar backlash when China clamped down on 'Free Tibet' in 2008 OG. Saudi Arabia is more important to global markets than Iran & Egypt
